You can buy a 2016 Acura MDX SH-AWD with Technology, Entertainment, and AcuraWatch Plus Packages ($52,640) with 1.9 percent financing, for up to three years. For a five-year loan, that APR goes up to 2.9 percent. With the 2016 Volvo XC90 T5 AWD R-Design, you can get 1.9 percent financing for up to five years and $2,000 cash bonus. The MSRP on the Volvo luxury midsize SUV is almost $1,300 less, but it will save you more than $4,800 compared to the Acura, if you finance for five years. Both models have all-wheel drive, but the XC90 was fully redesigned for 2016, so there won t be as many like it on the streets.
To lease the 2016 Acura TLX ($31,695), you ll pay $299 per month for three years with $2,499 due at signing. This seems like a great deal. However, the 2016 Nissan Maxima ($32,560) is available for $259 per month for three years with $2,999 due at signing. With the Maxima, your payments will be $40 less per month, and you ll save $900 over the course of the lease on a car that sells for about $860 more than the TLX. The Maxima s interior rivals that of luxury midsize cars like the TLX and is actually more spacious as well. As a kicker, the Maxima boasts almost 100 more horsepower than the TLX.
