“My child arrived at the Ranch in Nov. 2013. She was not in good shape emotionally and spiritually. Her self confidence and self esteem were low. Her academics scores were down. After some time at the Ranch, she has knocked down the wall between her and Jesus. She is now more stable emotionally and is able to control her temper. Her self esteem has increased because of her academic success.” I would recommend the Ranch program to other families without hesitation. The program was exactly what my daughter needed. Our family relations have been restored.

Although she wasn’t disrespectful, my daughter made it clear from the beginning she did not agree that the Ranch was where she was supposed to be. Refusing to call the staff “Aunt” and “Uncle,” not participating in Devotionals, clinging to being an atheist. she stood her ground. I have kept a scrap book with every letter in order that she and I have sent each other. I often go back and read them. in awe of the transformation I witnessed through our words in the 121 days she was in your care. She has told me over and over the hardest part of Edgewood has been looking at and forgiving herself. The biggest thing Edgewood did for her is give her faith in herself.

From our perspective we see the Ranch as a truly supportive community that is focused on giving each child the best spiritual, scholastic and life’s education possible whilst simultaneously equipping each Rancher-parent with the tools necessary to deal with and communicate with their child or children at a new and more productive level. The Ranch program has been most instrumental in teaching our son the value of discipline and teamwork, and we are confident that these are traits that will serve him well throughout the rest of his life. While at the Ranch, we saw our son make a hundred and eighty degree about-turn and how he’s grown and continues to grow daily into a considerate, happy, honest, hardworking and loving young man. We are so pleased, and blessed and thankful and we owe it all to the Ranch.
