Winegard TRAV’LER DISH 1000 Multi-Satellite TV Antenna

Winegard TRAV’LER DISH 1000 Multi-Satellite TV Antenna

I had this unit installed by Camping World. It has operated flawlessly. Just turn on the antenna and it automatically finds all. three satelites. My HD TV produces perfect HD at all times when the program is produced in HD. Other programs appear to be HD because they come in so clearly. This is the best investment I have ever made. It will cause me to keep my present trailer forever, just to keep the TV arrangement as it is with the Dish antenna.

I recently purchased a Winegard Trav’ler Dish TV Antenna from Camping World and had it installed by them. The installation was p. rofessionally done and up and working properly. I also purchased a Dish receiver from Camping World and had it added to my home Dish Network account as an additional receiver. The reception is flawless and is just like sitting in my home as I receive the exact programing. The Antenna is a little pricy but if you want the best then it is worth every penny.

I currently have 2 cables from my dome antenna. 1 goes to the front and 1 goes to the back of the RV. Can these be used for this antenna? On my 722k receiver when it is at home I have 1 cable coming into the house and a splitter sends it to each of the 2 tuners in the receiver. Will this work the same in my RV? I have also heard that parts are hard to come by on Winegard Antennas. Is that true? I have also heard that Winegard antenna tend to rock when extended (something worn out?).

The 722k will work but two coax cables will have to be ran from the antenna to the inputs (you can’t use a DPP separator). Winegard antenna parts are not hard to get, no, but they are ordered directly from Winegard by the service counter at our stores or by the technical assistance line at our catalog center. Any antenna will sway slightly in a strong enough wind. Excessive sway may indicate a problem with the antenna or the installation.
